Tawhid (Oneness of God)
Central to Islamic belief is the concept of Tawhid, which affirms the absolute oneness of Allah. Muslims believe that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and He has no partners, associates, or equals. Tawhid encapsulates the monotheistic nature of Islam, emphasizing the uniqueness and indivisibility of God.
Prophethood (Risalah)
Muslims believe in the prophethood of various messengers sent by Allah throughout history to guide humanity. The final prophet is Muhammad (peace be upon him), who received the revelation of the Quran. Prophets, including Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, are revered as messengers who conveyed divine messages to their respective communities.
Books of Allah
Muslims believe in the divine books revealed by Allah to various prophets as guidance for humanity. The Quran, revealed to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), is considered the final and complete revelation. Additionally, Muslims recognize the Torah given to Moses, the Psalms given to David, the Gospel given to Jesus, and other scriptures. The Quran is regarded as the ultimate and preserved scripture.
Angels (Malaika)
Belief in angels is another fundamental aspect of Islamic faith. Angels are spiritual beings created by Allah to carry out specific tasks in the universe. They have no free will and strictly follow Allah's commands. Among the well-known angels are Jibreel (Gabriel), the angel of revelation, and Mika'il, responsible for providing sustenance.
Day of Judgment (Qiyamah)
Muslims beli.eve in life after death and the concept of the Day of Judgment. On this day, individuals will be resurrected, and their deeds will be weighed. Those who lived righteous lives and followed Allah's guidance will be rewarded with eternal paradise, while those who deviated from the path of righteousness will face consequences. The belief in the Day of Judgment serves as a moral compass, encouraging believers to lead virtuous lives.
These five aspects collectively form the foundation of the Islamic faith. Muslims express their commitment to these beliefs through the Shahada, the declaration that "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger." Upholding these principles guides the daily lives, actions, and spiritual practices of Muslims worldwide
